含水裂隙类砂岩冻胀力演化规律及裂纹扩展特征试验研究

含水裂隙类砂岩冻胀力演化规律及裂纹扩展特征试验研究
Experimental investigation into the evolutionary mechanism of frost heave force and crack propagation characteristics in water-saturated fractured sandstone
为探讨不同冻结温度下含水裂隙砂岩冻胀力演化规律及裂纹扩展特征,采用相似材料配制不同单裂隙类砂岩试样,探讨了不同冻结温度下含水裂隙类砂岩冻胀力演化规律,揭示了冻胀作用对岩体的损伤程度以及其裂纹发展规律。试验表明:裂隙试样冻结时裂隙内自由水冰塞封闭形成冰塞效应产生冻胀力并迅速上升,融化时热胀使冻胀力二次回升,之后随裂隙冰融缩冻胀力降低。冻胀力随温度变化可分为5个阶段;相同裂隙角度,冻结温度越低冻胀力越大;相同冻结温度下,冻胀力峰值随裂隙角度呈减增交替趋势,0°~30°趋势相似,45°后不同温度下峰值差异大;裂隙试样冻胀裂纹发展程度随温度降低冻胀裂纹扩展程度加剧,试样沿主裂纹断裂破坏,破坏模式以竖向张拉为主,裂纹沿预制裂隙向约束薄弱区扩展,形成翼形裂纹与垂直冻胀裂纹复合体系;当裂隙倾角增大时,裂纹扩展方向逐渐趋向于与初始裂隙的走向一致,对于冻融条件下的单裂隙岩体,随着裂隙倾角的增大,岩石损伤呈现先减小后增大的再减小的趋势。研究成果可为裂隙岩体冻胀力演化规律与裂纹扩展特征研究提供参考。
To explore the evolution law of frost heaving force and the crack propagation characteristics of water-bearing fractured sandstone under different freezing temperatures, similar materials were used to prepare different single-fracture sandstone-like specimens. The evolution law of frost heaving force of water-bearing fractured sandstone under different freezing temperatures was investigated, and the damage degree of rock mass caused by frost heaving and the crack development law were revealed. The test results show that when the fractured specimens are frozen, the free water in the fractures is ice-sealed to form an ice plug effect, generating frost heaving force which rapidly increases. During the melting process, the thermal expansion causes the frost heaving force to rise again. After that, the frost heaving force decreases as the ice in the fractures melts and shrinks. The frost heaving force can be divided into five stages according to the temperature changes. Under the same fracture angle, the lower the freezing temperature, the greater the frost heaving force. Under the same freezing temperature, the peak value of the frost heaving force alternates between increasing and decreasing with the fracture angle. The trends are similar from 0° to 30°, but the peak values at different temperatures are significantly different after 45°. The degree of frost heaving cracks in the fractured specimens increases with the decrease in temperature. The specimens are fractured along the main crack, and the failure mode is mainly vertical tension. The cracks extend along the prefabricated fractures to the weakly constrained areas, forming a composite system of wing-shaped cracks and vertical frost heaving cracks. When the fracture dip angle increases, the crack propagation direction gradually tends to be consistent with the initial fracture direction. For single-fracture rock masses under freeze-thaw conditions, the rock damage first decreases, then increases, and then decreases again with the increase in the fracture dip angle. This research can provide reference for the study of frost heaving force evolution patterns and crack propagation characteristics in fractured rock masses.
