Spatial spillovers and threshold effects of digital financial inclusion on the agricultural economic resilience: A case study of prefecture-level cities in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River
The purpose of this study is to explore the characteristics of the impact of digital financial inclusion on agricultural economic resilience. Based on the panel data of prefecture-level cities in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River from 2011 to 2022, the panel spatial model and panel threshold model are used to investigate the spatial spillover and threshold effects of digital financial inclusion on agricultural economic resilience. The results show that: There is a promotion effect of digital financial inclusion on the agricultural economic resilience; There is a positive spatial spillover effect of digital financial inclusion on the agricultural economic resilience, and the agricultural technological innovation is an important pathway of action in between; With the improvement of the level of the digital financial inclusion, its promotion effect on the agricultural economic resilience presents a double threshold feature; There is regional heterogeneity in the impact of digital financial inclusion on agricultural economic resilience, in which the promotion effect on high resilience level areas and the lower reaches of the Yangtze River is more significant.
