基于ECA的内蒙古同步性极端高温事件的时空特征分析
Analysis of spatiotemporal characteristics of synchronous extreme heat events in Inner Mongolia based on ECA
研究极端事件的同步性有助于增进对极端事件潜在物理机制的理解和提高对极端事件的预测能力。针对内蒙古地区极端高温事件的时空特征,采用事件符合分析(event coincidence analysis,ECA)量化内蒙古地区不同地理位置处极端高温事件的同步性并构建功能气候网络。结果表明,采用ECA构建的功能气候网络的拓扑特征可表征极端高温事件的空间影响范围、影响程度、空间传播聚集性和确定极端事件全局强耦合区域、局部强耦合区域以及极端高温事件定向传输的中心信息枢纽,可进一步揭示内蒙古气候系统中极端高温事件的时空特征和时空群发性。
Studying the synchronicity of extreme events helps to enhance the understanding of the potential physical mechanisms of extreme events and improve the predictive ability of extreme events. In response to the spatiotemporal characteristics of extreme heat events in Inner Mongolia, event coincidence analysis (ECA) was used to quantify the synchronicity of extreme heat events at different geographical locations in Inner Mongolia, and a functional climate network was constructed. The results indicate that the topological characteristics of the functional climate network constructed through ECA can characterize the spatial impact range, impact degree, spatial propagation aggregation of extreme heat events, and determine the central information hub for the global and local strong coupling areas of extreme events, as well as the directional transmission of extreme high heat events, which reveals the spatiotemporal characteristics and spatiotemporal clustering of extreme heat events in the climate system of Inner Mongolia.
