不同培育方式对胡杨光合特性和水分利用效率的影响
Effects of different cultivation methods on the photosynthetic characteristics and water-utilizing efficiency of Populus euphratica
目的 了解自然落种培育方式和人工挖坑培育方式胡杨的光响应特征及光能利用效率(LUE)与水分利用效率(WUE)对光的响应关系。 方法 以新疆塔里木河下游尉犁县34团2、3、5、7年4个林龄胡杨为研究对象,利用Li-6400XT便携式光合仪测定胡杨气体交换参数,并利用光响应模型及前人推导出的光能利用效率和水分利用效率的响应模型,分别研究它们的光响应特征及光能、水分利用效率的变化特征。 结果 无论何种培育方式,5、7年生胡杨Pn值普遍高于2、3年生胡杨,证明高林龄胡杨光合能力较强,胡杨在中高光强下LUE和WUE均与胡杨林龄成正比关系;人工挖坑培育方式下胡杨Pn max的平均值为24.84 μmol/(m2·s),高于天然落种方式下胡杨的23.68 μmol/(m2·s),证明其光合潜力大,另外其在强光下对光能和水分利用能力比天然落种方式下胡杨更强也更加稳定。 结论 人工挖坑培育方式胡杨因人为干预植株,改善了土壤养分条件,所以光合潜力大,对强光利用能力更强,水分利用能力更加稳定,在极端高温、干旱环境适应性更强,因此可以推广人工干预方式进行塔里木河下游胡杨林更新复壮。
Objective The propose of this study was to investigate the light response characteristics of Populus euphrus cultured by natural seed drop and artificial pit,and the responsive relationship of light use efficiency (LUE) and water use efficiency (WUE) to the light. Method Four Populus euphratica stands of 2,3,5 and 7 years old in Weili County,which was located in the lower reaches of Tarim River in Xinjiang,were selected as the research materials.The gas-exchange parameters of Populus euphratica were determined by using Li-6400xt portable photosynthetic apparatus.The light-response characteristics and the variations in the light - and water- utilizing efficiencies were studied by using the light-response model and the response models of light -utilizing and water-utilizing efficiency,which were previously established by predecessors. Result Regardless of the cultivation method,the Pn value of 5- and 7-year-old Populus euphratica was generally higher than that of 2- and 3-year-old Populus euphratica,which proved that the photosynthetic capacity of Populus euphratica was stronger at high forest age,and both LUE and WUE of Populus euphratica were proportional to the forest age of Populus euphratica under medium and high light intensity.The average Pnmax of Populus euphratica under artificial digging cultivation was 24.84 μmol/(m2·s),which was higher than 23.68 μmol/(m2·s) of Populus euphratica under natural seeding,which proved its photosynthetic potential.In addition,its ability to utilize light energy and water under strong light was stronger and morestable than that of Populus euphratica under the natural seeding method. Conclusion The artificial digging cultivation method of Populus euphratica improved soil nutrient conditions due to human intervention,so it had a great photosynthetic potential,a stronger ability to utilize strong light,a more stable water-utilization ability,and a stronger adaptability to the extreme high temperature and arid environments.Therefore,the manual intervention method can be used to rejuvenate the Populus euphratica forest in the lower reaches of the Tarim River.
