干旱条件下不同盐分对盐生草种子萌发的影响

干旱条件下不同盐分对盐生草种子萌发的影响
Effects of different salts on seed germination of Halogeton glomeratus under drought conditions
目的 以西北旱区盐渍化土地广泛分布的盐生植物盐生草为研究对象,探究在干旱环境下不同盐渍化水平对盐生草种子萌发等表型性状的影响。 方法 使用6%聚乙二醇6000模拟干旱条件,以中性盐(NaCl、Na2SO4)和碱性盐(NaHCO3、Na2CO3)的6种盐分浓度梯度进行萌发试验,测定种子发芽势、发芽率,以及株高、干鲜质量和根系活力,并通过回归分析、聚类分析和主成分分析进行综合评价,确定了各指标的耐盐阈值,探究了干旱和盐胁迫互作对盐生草种子萌发的影响。 结果 在PEG-6000为6%的环境下,随着盐浓度的升高,盐胁迫对盐生草种子萌发及生长指标均呈现出不同程度的下降趋势,抑制效果由强到弱依次表现为Na2CO3>NaHCO3>NaCl>Na2SO4。 结论 初步揭示了在6% PEG-6000环境下,盐生草萌发期对不同浓度钠盐溶液的耐性程度,耐盐阈值为31.2~155.8 mol/L,为盐生草耐盐机制的研究提供理论依据和数据支撑。
Objective Halogeton glomeratus,Halogeton glomeratus,a halophytic plant extensively found in salinized lands within the arid regions of the northwest,was chosen as the research object to investigate the impacts of various salinity levels on its seed germination and other phenotypic traits in arid conditions. Method The study utilized 6% polyethylene glycol 6000 to replicate drought conditions and conducted germination assays with varying concentrations of six salts,including neutral salts (NaCl,Na2SO4) and basic salts (NaHCO3,Na2CO3).Parameters such as germination potential,germination rate,plant height,dry and fresh weight,and root activity were assessed.Salt tolerance thresholds for each metric were identified through regression analysis,cluster analysis,and principal component analysis,examining how drought and salinity stress impacted the germination of halophytes. Result The results demonstrated that as salt concentration increased,the salinity stress on seed germination and growth parameters of Halogeton glomeratus exhibited a declining trend to differing extents in the PEG-6000 environment.The magnitude of decrease was influenced by the salt type,with Na2CO3 displaying the strongest inhibitory effect followed by NaHCO3,NaCl,and Na2SO4. Conclusion In conclusion,this study initially unveiled the tolerance of halophytes to varying concentrations of sodium salt solutions within the 6% PEG-6000 environment,establishing salt tolerance thresholds ranging from 31.2 to 155.8 mmol/L.These findings offer a foundational understanding and empirical support for investigating the salt tolerance mechanisms of Halogeton glomeratus.
