To elucidate the creep mechanism of the loess-paleosol structural surface and address the limitations of traditional models in characterizing the accelerated creep stage, this study investigates the loess-paleosol interface at the Zhaitoucun village landslide (Jingyang South Plateau) by conducting triaxial creep experiments under controlled confining pressure and moisture content conditions. The long-term strength threshold was determined by using both isochronous curve method and steady-state creep rate method, with 5% axial strain-defined stress established as the long-term strength criterion. An enhanced Burgers model incorporating nonlinear viscoelastic-plastic elements and fractional-order calculus theory was developed to construct a creep constitutive model coupling stress, time, and moisture content, optimized through BFGS algorithm. Results of study demonstrate that increased confining pressure significantly enhances soil yield strength, while saturated conditions reduce creep failure stress. Compared with conventional models, the modified Burgers model more accurately captures the creep characteristics of the accelerated creep stage, effectively revealing nonlinear evolution patterns at the structural surface. The research conclusions provide theoretical foundations for long-term stability prediction of loess landslides and optimization of engineering slope designs.
