桑茎叶的营养特性、加工技术及其在动物生产中的应用研究进展
Nutritional characteristics and processing techniques of mulberry leaves and stems and its utilization in animal production
目的 综述桑茎叶的营养价值、生物活性、加工技术及其在动物生产中的应用情况,以寻找替代和更便宜的饲料资源,从而促进畜牧业可持续发展。 方法 通过查阅相关文献,总结近年来关于桑茎叶青贮在动物生产中的应用情况,包括不同的加工技术、添加剂量、使用阶段等方面。 结果 桑茎叶是可用于喂养家畜的重要资源,与其他树茎叶和传统牧草相比,桑茎叶具有相当高的蛋白质和能量含量、具有多种生物活性功能、具有抗氧化和消炎等特性。桑茎叶中存在的多酚类化合物(主要是黄酮类化合物),具有卓越的抗氧化和抗菌潜力,对家畜的健康生长有很好的作用。 结论 桑茎叶在动物生产中的应用前景广阔,充分发掘桑树资源在我国饲料化应用方面的潜力,可以缓解因大豆、鱼粉等饲用蛋白资源依赖所引发的问题,有助于促进绿色健康养殖产业的蓬勃发展。
Objectives The nutritional value, biological activity, processing techniques of mulberry stems and leaves, and its utlization in animal production were reviewed to find alternative and cheaper resources of feed and promote the sustainable development of animal husbandry. Methods The utilization of mulberry stems and leaves as green storage in animal production including processing techniques, dosages, and stages of use in recent years was summarized by reviewing relevant literature. Results Mulberry stems and leaves are important resources that can be used to feed livestock. Mulberry stems and leaves have relatively higher content of protein and energy, multiple bioactive functions, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties compared with other tree stems and leaves and traditional forage. The polyphenolic compounds (mainly flavonoids) present in mulberry stems and leaves have excellent antioxidant and antibacterial potential, with a good effect on the healthy growth of livestock. Conclusions The prospects of utilizing mulberry stems and leaves in animal production are broad. Fully tapping into the potential of mulberry resources in feed utilization in China can alleviate the problems caused by the dependence on feed protein resources including soybeans and fish meal, and help promote the vigorous development of green and healthy aquaculture industry. It will provide a reference for future studies on the utilization of mulberry stems and leaves in animal production.
