芬苯达唑对青年肉牛食道口线虫感染的驱虫及促生长效果研究

芬苯达唑对青年肉牛食道口线虫感染的驱虫及促生长效果研究
The deworming and growth-promoting effects of fenbendazole on esophageal nematode infection in young beef cattle
目的 为肉牛寄生虫病防治及养殖效益提升提供科学依据。 方法 选取某规模化养殖场60头6~8月龄、平均体重(250±15) kg的食道口线虫感染青年肉牛,按随机分组原则分为试验组与对照组,每组30头。试验组采用芬苯达唑口服给药,5 mg/kg,1次/d,连续3 d;对照组不做驱虫处理。试验周期为45 d,期间监测肉牛临床症状,采集不同时段粪便样本,采用饱和盐水漂浮法检测虫卵数,计算虫卵减少率与转阴率;同时,记录肉牛初始体重、结束体重及饲料消耗量,计算日增重与料重比。 结果 试验组虫卵转阴率达86.7%,日增重为(1.18±0.14)kg,较对照组提高66.20%(P<0.01),料重比显著低于对照组。 结论 芬苯达唑对青年肉牛食道口线虫感染具有显著治疗效果,可有效改善感染青年肉牛的生长性能,降低料重比,在肉牛养殖生产中具备应用价值。
Objectives A scientific basis for the prevention and control of parasitic diseases in beef cattle and the improvement of farming benefits was provided. Methods 60 young beef cattle at age of 6-8 months and with an average weight of (250 ± 15) kg infected with esophageal nematodes from a large-scale farm were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group, with 30 cattle in each group. Cattle in the experimental group was administered fenbendazole orally, 5 mg/kg, once a day for 3 consecutive days. Cattle in the control group did not receive deworming treatment. The experimental period was 45 days, during which clinical symptoms of beef cattle were monitored. Fecal samples at different periods of time were collected. The number of eggs was detected with the saturated saline floating method, and the reduction rate of insect egg and the negative conversion rate of insect egg were calculated. The initial weight, final weight and feed consumption of beef cattle was recorded to calculate the daily weight gain and the ratio of feed to weight. Results The negative conversion rate of insect egg in the experimental group reached 86.7%, with a daily weight gain of (1.18 ± 0.14) kg, which was 66.20% higher than that in the control group (P<0.01), and the ratio of feed to weight in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group. Conclusions Fenbendazole has a significant therapeutic effect on esophageal nematode infection in young beef cattle, which can effectively improve the growth performance of infected young beef cattle, reduce the ratio of feed to weight, and has practical value in the farming and production of beef cattle.
