To solve the problems of low efficiency and insufficient accuracy of traditional elevator traction wheel detection methods, and the fact that other detection methods have high cost and poor adaptability to the environments such as oil pollution and stray light, a set of elevator traction wheel wear detection system based on linear structured light is designed in this paper. Firstly, the system is calibrated by camera and light plane, and then the deformation structured light strip image irradiated by the line structured light emitter irradiated in the rope groove of the elevator traction wheel is collected by the industrial camera, and the center line of the light strip is extracted by using the improved gray center of gravity method, and the three-dimensional coordinates of each point on the light strip in the area are screened after the extraction is completed, and then the coordinate information of the extreme point is analyzed and processed, so as to realize the real-time calculation of the depth of the rope groove. Through experiments, it is proved that the system can detect the wear of the rope groove in a non-contact manner, and the degree of oil pollution and other factors is small, and the accuracy can reach 0.1 mm, which has high practicability and reliability.
