Addressing the critical technical challenge of significant zero drift in SOI piezoresistive pressure sensors caused by thermal stress across the wide temperature range of -50 ℃ to 200 ℃. The coupling relationship between output voltage and piezoresistive stress at ambient temperature is derived, clarifying the impact of temperature and thermal stress on sensor performance. Utilizing the COMSOL multiphysics simulation platform, an optimization simulation study is conducted on the three-layer critical structure of the SOI piezoresistive pressure sensor. Simulation results indicate that a composite metal layer (Ti/Pt/Au) with thicknesses of 50 nm/60 nm/300 nm and a passivation layer (SiO2/Si3N4) with thicknesses of 300 nm/200 nm effectively suppress interfacial thermal mismatch and block external stress transmission. Furthermore, when the bonding glass layer thickness was optimized to 700 μm, thermal stress in the resistive sensing region decreased to 6.38 MPa, and the sensor's zero-point output simultaneously reduced to 1.755 mV. Static performance testing was conducted on the parameter-optimized sensor across the temperature range of -50 ℃ to 200 ℃. Test results indicate that at room temperature, the device exhibits a basic sensor output error of only approximately 0.22%, with a sensitivity of 29.35 mV/MPa/5 V. Throughout the entire operating temperature range, thermal zero drift is as low as 0.039 3%FS, and the measured drift trend aligns with simulation results.
