志愿者服务动机对大学生共情能力的影响：学业自我效能感的中介作用

The impact of volunteer service motivation on college students' empathy ability: the mediating role of academic self-efficacy

摘要

目的 探讨大学生志愿者服务动机与共情能力的关系,验证学业自我效能感在二者间的中介作用。方法 采用志愿者服务动机量表、人际反应指针量表及学业自我效能感量表对陕西省一所医学院校的1 195名学生进行问卷调查。Bootstrap法分析学业自我效能感在志愿者服务动机和共情能力的中介效应。结果 志愿者服务动机、学业自我效能感、共情能力的总得分分别为(66.99±9.97)、(77.70±11.57)、(110.23±13.78)分,志愿者服务动机与共情能力呈正相关(r值为0.30～0.57,P＜0.001),与学业自我效能感呈正相关(r值为0.43～0.53,P＜0.001),学业自我效能感和共情能力呈正相关(r值为0.38～0.68,P＜0.001),学业自我效能感在志愿者服务动机与共情能力之间起到部分中介作用,中介效应值为0.203,占总效应的35.41%。结论 志愿者服务动机可以直接影响共情能力,还可以通过学业自我效能感间接影响大学生的共情能力。

Abstract

Objective To explore the relationship between volunteer service motivation and empathy ability among college students, and to verify the mediating role of academic self-efficacy between them. Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted among 1 195 students from a medical university in Shaanxi Province using the Volunteer Service Motivation Scale, Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI), and Academic Self-Efficacy Scale. The Bootstrap method was used to analyze the mediating effect of academic self-efficacy between volunteer service motivation and empathy ability. Results The total scores of volunteer service motivation, academic self-efficacy, and empathy ability were 66.99±9.97, 77.70±11.57, and 110.23±13.78, respectively. Volunteer service motivation was positively correlated with empathy ability (r: 0.30-0.57, P＜0.001) and academic self-efficacy (r:0.43-0.53, P＜0.001). Academic self-efficacy was positively correlated with empathy ability (r:0.38-0.68, P＜0.001). Academic self-efficacy played a partial mediating role between volunteer service motivation and empathy ability, with an effect value of 0.203, accounting for 35.41% of the total effect. Conclusion Volunteer service motivation can directly affect empathy ability, and it can also indirectly influence college students' empathy ability through academic self-efficacy.
