TPPP aggregates were constructed by reprecipitation method at room temperature using tetrahydrofuran as a good solvent to dissolve 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(pentafluorophenyl)porphine (TPPP) and water as a bad solvent to induce the assembly, and their morphological structure and luminescent properties were characterized. It is found that the fluorescence of the aggregate is significantly enhanced in the presence of Fe3+, so the aggregate can be used as a fluorescent probe to detect Fe3+ ions. Through detection, it is determined that there is a linear relationship between the fluorescence intensity of the probe and the concentration of Fe3+ in the range of 5.0 × 10-8 to 5.18 × 10-6 mol/L with =0.993 56 and the detection limit is calculated to be 2.97 × 10-8 mol/L. In addition, TPPP aggregate fluorescent probe has good selectivity and anti-interference in the detection of Fe3+. Finally, it is verified that it has good feasibility in the spiking experiments of pure water, tap water, and mineral water, the recovery rate of spiking is between 95.02% and 104.73%.
