文化基因视角下历史古镇文化遗产活化利用路径——以山东青城镇为例

The revitalization and utilization pathways of cultural heritage in a historical town from the perspective of cultural genes: A case study of Qingcheng Town, Shandong Province

摘要

文化基因视角下历史古镇活化利用的路径研究是解读地域文化特质、破解传承困境的有效途径。文章基于文化基因理论,针对黄河下游历史古镇文化基因的系统解码与活化利用问题,围绕“识别-转译-应用”的分析框架,将古镇文化基因分为物质层、行为层、精神层三个层次,探索不同层次基因的差异化保护与协同活化路径。以山东青城镇为实证案例,识别青城镇“一心双环十字街”空间格局基因、“坊市一体”功能组织基因和“重商崇文”价值观念基因,剖析了当代空间演变中的格局切割、肌理错位、水系断裂等偏差问题,进而提出了物质层空间秩序延续与文化肌理修复相结合、行为层功能置换与业态创新相结合、精神层空间叙事与数字赋能相结合的分层协同活化路径,以期为黄河下游历史古镇文化遗产的科学保护与活化利用提供理论指导和实践参考。

Abstract

Examining revitalization pathways for historical towns from the perspective of cultural genes is an effective approach to interpreting regional cultural characteristics and addressing heritage transmission dilemmas. Based on cultural gene theory, this study focuses on the systematic decoding and revitalization of cultural genes in historical towns along the lower reaches of the Yellow River. Following an analytical framework of "identification-translation-application," the cultural genes of historical towns are classified into three levels: material, behavioral, and spiritual. Differentiated conservation strategies and coordinated revitalization pathways are then explored for these levels. Taking Qingcheng Town in Shandong Province as an empirical case, this study identifies the spatial pattern gene of "one center, two rings, and a cross-shaped street," the functional organization gene of "integrated market-residential blocks," and the value gene of "valuing commerce and esteeming culture." It further analyzes deviations in contemporary spatial evolution, including pattern fragmentation, texture misalignment, and water-system discontinuity. Accordingly, a layered and coordinated revitalization pathway is proposed: integrating spatial order continuity with cultural texture restoration at the material level, functional replacement with business-format innovation at the behavioral level, and spatial narrative with digital empowerment at the spiritual level. This study aims to provide theoretical guidance and practical reference for the scientific conservation and revitalization of cultural heritage in historical towns along the lower Yellow River.
