In dynamic environments, when using an integrated model predictive control (MPC) approach to solve obstacle avoidance planning and control problems simultaneously, challenges arise in optimization complexity and system robustness. To address these issues, this paper proposes a coordinated obstacle avoidance control strategy combining Lattice-guided trajectory planning with an MPC controller. This strategy utilizes Lattice planning to generate a series of smooth candidate trajectories for obstacle avoidance and selects the optimal one as a reference trajectory for the integrated MPC obstacle avoidance controller, thereby providing feedforward guidance. Subsequently, the integrated MPC obstacle avoidance controller conducts secondary optimization based on this reference trajectory. The MPC obstacle avoidance controller employs a dynamic sampling strategy with constant prediction distances in the prediction horizon to fully utilize predictive information while maintaining optimization problem stability. Feasible driving regions are constructed as obstacle avoidance constraints within each prediction step based on obstacle trajectory predictions, while explicitly considering vehicle dynamics constraints and handling stability constraints, ultimately generating optimized control commands. Comparative experiments between the proposed coordinated method and a baseline method using only MPC for direct trajectory planning and obstacle avoidance control demonstrate that the collaborative Lattice-MPC method improves computational efficiency by approximately 36.5% in terms of solving time. In lateral control, the peak lateral acceleration is reduced by about 29.8%, and the fluctuation in yaw rate is lowered by 12.2%, ensuring higher driving stability. For longitudinal control, the peak acceleration fluctuation is reduced by 57%, leading to better ride comfort.
