Progress of angiogenesis inhibitors

摘要

Angiogenesis means the formation of new blood vessels through proliferation and migration of endothelium.The homeostasis of vessel system is modulated by angiogenesis stimulators and inhibitors in vivo.The regulation of these factors is associated with the angiogensis-related diseases including cancer.Angiogenesis inhibitors may be applied as a potential therapeutic target for prevention and treatment of cancer and other angiogenesis-related diseases.In this review,we summarized a series of endogenous angiogenesis inhibitors,their related mechanisms and potential applications.
