摘要

本试验旨在探究补喂精氨酸对种公马精液品质的影响。试验选取12匹性欲正常、健康的纯血种公马,随机分为对照组与试验组,每组6匹。在相同饲养管理和日粮营养水平下,对照组不额外补喂精氨酸,试验组每匹种公马每日补喂25 g精氨酸,试验周期为40 d。分别于试验开始前1 d(即0 d)、试验第10 d、20 d、30 d、40 d采集种公马精液,将新鲜精液稀释后,使用奥林巴斯CX41RF显微镜镜检,检测指标包括采精量、活精子数、精子直线运动率、精子运动速度、精子快速运动比例及精子密度。结果显示:试验组的采精量显著高于对照组(P<0.05),自第10 d起,试验组采精量较对照组分别提高17.54%、45.32%、44.44%和85.32%;活精子数、精子直线运动率、精子快速运动比例等指标在两组间无显著差异(P>0.05);精子运动速度两组差异不显著(P>0.05),但试验组在第10 d、20 d、40 d时较对照组分别提高0.97%、7.11%、1.25%;精子密度两组差异亦不显著(P>0.05),但试验组在第10 d、30 d时较对照组分别提高13.42%、22.01%。综上所述,在本试验条件下,给种公马每日补喂25 g精氨酸可显著提高其采精量,同时对精子运动速度和精子密度具有一定提升作用。

Abstract

This experiment aimed to investigate the effects of dietary arginine supplementation on semen quality in stallions. Twelve healthy Thoroughbred stallions with normal libido were selected and randomly divided into two groups of six stallions each: a control group and a test group. Under identical feeding management and dietary nutritional conditions, the control group received no arginine supplementation, while the test group received a daily supplementation of 25 g of arginine per stallion for a 40-day trial period. Semen was collected from the stallions on the day before the trial started (designated as day 0), and on days 10, 20, 30, and 40 of the trial. The collected fresh semen was diluted and examined under an Olympus CX41RF microscope to evaluate semen volume, sperm count, sperm linear motility, sperm velocity, percentage of rapid motile sperm, and sperm density. The results showed that the semen volume in the test group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05), with increases of 17.54%, 45.32%, 44.44%, and 85.32% observed from day 10 onwards, respectively. No significant differences were observed between the control and test groups for the indicators of sperm count, sperm linear motility, and the percentage of rapid motile sperm (P>0.05). Sperm velocity did not differ significantly between the test and control groups (P>0.05), but on days 10, 20, and 40 of arginine supplementation, the test group showed increases of 0.97%, 7.11%, and 1.25%, respectively, compared to the control group. Sperm density did not differ significantly between the test and control groups (P>0.05), but on days 10 and 30 of arginine supplementation, the test group showed increases of 13.42% and 22.01%, respectively, compared to the control group. In conclusion, under the conditions of this experiment, daily supplementation with 25 g of arginine to stallions significantly increased semen volume and led to improvements in sperm velocity and sperm density.
