“开放性”导向的生物化学与分子生物学实验课双语教学改革
Openness-Oriented Bilingual Teaching Reform of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Laboratory Course
在当今医学高等教育领域,生物化学与分子生物学实验课程作为医学人才培养的重要实践环节,其地位和作用愈发凸显。在“新医科”背景下,医学人才培养不仅需要跨学科的综合能力,同时还要求具备开阔的国际视野。这要求传统实验课程必须突破单一教学模式、考核体系和评价方式的局限,实现教学内容、方法与评价体系的多元化整合与创新。以“开放性”视角为切入点,对兰州大学医学部生物化学与分子生物学实验课程的双语教学开展改革与探索。可以发现,将“可变性”元素引入实验教学内容,融合“多元化”教学方法于课堂实践,并推行综合性评价体系,不仅有助于提升教学效果,还能显著激发学生的学习兴趣与热情,同时培养学生的国际视野和解决问题的能力。改革探索不仅为生物化学与分子生物学实验课程的持续改进提供了宝贵经验,还为其他医学实验课程的教学改革指明了新方向,为培养符合国际标准的高水平医学人才提供了坚实保障。
In the current landscape of medical higher education, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology laboratory course has become an increasingly vital practical component in training medical professionals. Under the “New Medicine” framework, cultivating medical talent now demands not only interdisciplinary competencies but also a global perspective. This necessitates breaking away from the limitations of traditional experimental courses, which often rely on singular teaching modes, assessment systems, and evaluation methods, to achieve diversified integration and innovation in content, pedagogy, and evaluation systems. This paper adopts the “openness” perspective to explore reforms in bilingual teaching for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology laboratory course in medical school of Lanzhou University. Our findings reveal that introducing “adaptability” into experimental content, integrating “multifaceted” teaching methods into classroom practice, and implementing comprehensive evaluation systems not only enhance instructional effectiveness but also significantly boost student engagement and enthusiasm. These approaches concurrently foster students’ international perspectives and problem-solving skills. Our reform initiatives provide valuable insights for the continuous improvement of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology laboratory courses, chart new directions for pedagogical innovation in other medical experimental courses, and establish a robust foundation for cultivating high-caliber medical professionals who meet international standards.
