Using panel data of 279 Chinese cities from 2018 to 2021, the panel Tobit and threshold models were employed to examine the impact and mechanisms. Results showed that: (1) Digital government construction significantly boosted urban ecological resilience; (2) Digital government construction promoted ecological resilience by facilitating industrial structure upgrading; (3) A nonlinear marginal increasing effect emerged as ecological resilience was improved. The results provided empirical evidence for the positive correlation between digital government construction and ecological resilience.
