天然水体中共存离子对重金属Pb2+在Al2O3上吸附行为的影响

天然水体中共存离子对重金属Pb2+在Al2O3上吸附行为的影响
Study on the Effect of Coexisting Ions on the Adsorption Behavior of Heavy Metal Lead (Pb²⁺) on Alumina (Al₂O₃)
以Al2O3为吸附剂,探讨体系pH值、共存离子及其浓度等对Pb2+在Al2O3上吸附行为的影响。结果表明,向体系中加入Ca2+后,Pb2+在Al2O3上的吸附过程从单分子层吸附转变为多分子层吸附,且Pb2+在Al2O3上的吸附量降低,Pb2+的吸附受到抑制。Pb2+在Al2O3上的吸附行为符合准二级动力学模型,属于化学吸附,且Ca2+共存时,Al2O3吸附Pb2+的过程符合Elovich模型。体系pH值增加对Pb2+在Al2O3上的吸附起促进作用。在pH=7的Mg2+,Ca2+,Na+共存体系中,当共存离子浓度(c)从0.2 mol/L增加到1.0 mol/L时,Pb2+的吸附受到抑制,Al2O3对Pb2+的吸附量逐渐降低,共存离子对Pb2+吸附量的影响程度由大到小依次为Mg2+,Na+,Ca2+。而在,Cl-共存体系中,随着共存离子浓度的增加,NO3-促进Pb2+的吸附,而Cl-抑制Pb2+的吸附。Pb2+在Al2O3上的吸附量大小,与共存离子浓度改变Al2O3与溶液界面的电位、共存离子与Pb2+竞争吸附位点、共存离子改变Al2O3表面结构及共存离子与Al2O3的键合方式等有关。
This study investigates the adsorption behavior of lead ions (Pb²⁺) using alumina (Al2O3) as the adsorbent, focusing on the effects of pH, coexisting ions, and their concentrations on the adsorption process. The results indicate that the introduction of Ca2+ into the adsorption system transforms the adsorption of Pb²⁺ on Al2O3 from monolayer to multilayer adsorption, leading to a decrease in the amount of Pb²⁺ adsorbed, indicating that the adsorption of Pb²⁺ is inhibited. The adsorption behaviour of Pb²⁺ on Al2O3 follows a pseudo-second-order kinetic model, characteristic of chemical adsorption, and in the presence of Ca2+, the adsorption process aligns with the Elovich model. An increase in pH promotes the adsorption of Pb²⁺ on Al2O3. In a coexisting ionic system of Mg2+, Ca2+, and Na+ at pH 7, as the concentration of coexisting ions(c) increases from 0.2 mol/L to 1.0 mol/L, the adsorption of Pb²⁺ is inhibited, and the amount of Pb²⁺ adsorbed onto Al2O3 gradually decreases. The influence of coexisting ions on Pb²⁺ adsorption is ranked as follows: Mg2+, Na+, Ca2+. Conversely, in a coexisting ionic system with NO3- and Cl-, increasing the concentration of coexisting ions enhances Pb²⁺ adsorption due to NO3-, whereas Cl- inhibits it. These findings are related to changes in the electric potential at the Al2O3-solution interface, competition for adsorption sites between coexisting ions and Pb²⁺, alterations in the surface structure of Al2O3, and bonding interactions between coexisting ions and Al2O3.
