OBE理念下PBL教学法在中西医结合内科学内分泌系统疾病临床见习中的应用研究

OBE理念下PBL教学法在中西医结合内科学内分泌系统疾病临床见习中的应用研究
Study on the effectiveness of PBL teaching under the OBE concept in clinical practice of endocrine diseases in integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine internal medicine
目的 探究基于OBE理念的PBL教学法应用于中西医结合内科学内分泌系统疾病临床见习后对临床见习教学效果的作用与影响。 方法 选取2022年9月—2024年1月在北京中医药大学东方医院内分泌科见习的59名中西医临床华佗班学生作为研究对象,见习时间为1周,对照组30名,采用传统的教学模式;试验组29名,采用基于OBE理念的PBL教学模式。 结果 试验组学生的学习成果评价考核(包括形成性评价和终结性评价)、满意程度及知识获取度综合评分高于对照组学生,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。试验组部分学生在反馈中提到:实训室和模拟人训练通过将理论知识与实践充分结合,可有效提高自身的实操技能水平,深化其对理论知识的理解,为适应日后的临床工作打下了坚实的基础。 结论 在中西医结合内科学内分泌系统疾病的临床见习过程中,采用基于OBE理念的PBL教学法能够有效提升学生的中西医结合临床思维水平和多学科综合应用能力,可以激发学生的兴趣和培养自主学习能力、发展个人特长,还提高了师生对于临床教学的满意度,综合来看,有效提升了华佗班学生的中西医结合临床胜任力。
Objective To explore the impact and effectiveness of applying the problem-based learning (PBL) method, based on the outcomes-based education (OBE) concept, in clinical practice teaching of endocrine system diseases within integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine internal medicine. Methods A total of 59 students from the Huatuo Class of integrated clinical Chinese and Western medicine who underwent clinical practice in the Department of Endocrinology at Dongfang Hospital, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, between September 2022 and January 2024, were selected as the study participants. The practice lasted one week. The control group (n=30) followed the traditional teaching model, while the experimental group (n=29) received teaching based on the OBE-PBL model. Results The experimental group showed significantly higher scores in learning outcome assessments (including formative and summative evaluations), satisfaction levels, and comprehensive knowledge acquisition compared to the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Some students in the experimental group noted that training in simulation labs and with manikins effectively combined theory and practice, improved their operational skills, deepened their understanding of theoretical knowledge, and laid a solid foundation for future clinical work. Conclusion The application of the PBL teaching method based on the OBE concept in the clinical practice of endocrine diseases in integrated internal medicine significantly enhances students’ integrative clinical thinking and multidisciplinary competence. It stimulates students’ learning interest, fosters independent learning and personal development, and improves overall satisfaction with clinical teaching for both students and instructors. Overall, this model effectively enhances the clinical competency of Huatuo Class students in integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine.
