二月兰的多用途开发与城市绿化应用

摘要

Orgchophragmus violaceus is a desirable genetic resource that could be potentially used as oil or a vegetable crop, and also as an ornamental plant. Advantages of Orgchophragmus violaceus as an urban ground cover plant were analyzed. Different deployment patterns of the species with other ornamental species were illustrated. Successful cases of uses of the plant as ornamentals in main cities of China were described. The potential of the species to be used as ornamental plant is were discussed.
