以医工结合为主题开展医学生创新创业竞赛活动育人效果初探

以医工结合为主题开展医学生创新创业竞赛活动育人效果初探
Preliminary Exploration of Education Effect of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for Medical Students with the Theme of Medical-Engineering Integration
目的 对以医工结合为主题开展医学生创新创业竞赛活动的育人效果进行初步探索。 方法 将昆明医科大学第二临床学院2021—2023年参加中国国际“互联网+”大学生创新创业大赛的临床医学专业本科生分为医工组和非医工组,回顾性收集并分析两组学生的参赛项目获奖信息、学术成果数量、个人奖励和荣誉数量、研究生升学信息,用SPSS 27.0对数据进行统计分析,初步探索以医工结合为主题开展医学生创新创业竞赛活动的育人效果。 结果 共收集到医工组50人,参赛项目12项;非医工组160人,参赛项目26项。两组校级竞赛获奖项目数占各组项目总数比例分别为58.3% vs. 7.7%,P<0.05;省级竞赛获奖项目数占各组项目总数比例为25.0% vs. 7.7%,P>0.05;取得学术成果的学生数占学生总数比例为16.0% vs. 5.6%,P<0.05;取得校级个人奖励和荣誉的学生数占学生总数比例为72.0% vs. 28.1%,P<0.05;取得省级个人奖励和荣誉的学生数占学生总数比例为28.0% vs. 1.3%,P<0.05;取得国家级个人奖励和荣誉的学生数占学生总数比例为34.0% vs. 5.0%,P<0.05;获得推免资格的学生数占学生总数比例为34.0% vs. 6.9%,P<0.05;研究生升学成功的学生数占学生总数比例为85.7% vs. 28.6%,P<0.05。 结论 以医工结合为主题开展医学生创新创业竞赛活动与学生创新创业能力、学术能力、综合素质和社会竞争力提高密切相关,高校应积极探索并推广医工结合育人新途径。
Objective To explore the education effect of the innovation and entrepreneurship competition with the theme of medical-engineering integration for medical students. Methods Undergraduate students majoring in Clinical Medicine from the Second School of Clinical Medicine, Kunming Medical University, who participated in China International College Students’ “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition from 2021 to 2023, were divided into the medical-engineering group and the non-medical-engineering group. Students’ award information in the competition, number of academic achievements, number of personal awards and honors, and information of postgraduate enrollment of the two groups were retrospectively collected. SPSS 27.0 was applied to make statistic analysis of the data to preliminarily explore the education effect of the innovation and entrepreneurship competition with the theme of medical-engineering integration for medical students. Results There were 50 students and 12 projects in the medical-engineering group and 160 students and 26 projects in the non-medical-engineering group. The proportion of award-winning projects in the school competitions of the two groups was 58.3% vs. 7.7%, P<0.05. The proportion of award-winning projects in the provincial competitions of the two groups was 25.0% vs. 7.7%, P>0.05. The proportion of students with academic achievements of the two groups was 16.0% vs. 5.6%, P<0.05. The proportion of students with individual awards and honors in the school competitions of the two groups was 72.0% vs. 28.1%, P<0.05. The proportion of students with provincial individual awards and honors of the two groups was 28.0% vs. 1.3%, P<0.05. The proportion of students with national individual awards and honors of the two groups was 34.0% vs. 5.0%, P<0.05. The proportion of students with the qualification for exemption for postgraduate of the two groups was 34.0% vs. 6.9%, P<0.05. The proportion of students admitted to postgraduate college was 85.7% vs. 28.6%, P<0.05. Conclusion The innovation and entrepreneurship competition with the theme of medical-engineering integration for medical students is closely related to the improvement of students’ innovation and entrepreneurship ability, academic competence, comprehensive quality, and social competitiveness. Colleges and universities should actively explore and promote new ways of medical-engineering integration to cultivate students.
