情景模拟教学法联合传统教学模式在医学通识课教学中的作用
Role of Scenario Simulation Method Combined with the Traditional Teaching Mode in Medical General Education
目的 探讨情景模拟教学法联合传统教学模式在医学通识课教学中的可行性及应用价值,为更好地开展通识课教学提供参考依据。 方法 以2022年9月~2023年6月西安交通大学参加医学通识课“健康素养导论”的非医学背景的120名大一新生作为对照组,选取2023年9月~2024年6月西安交通大学参加通识课“健康素养导论”的非医学背景的120名大一新生作为实验组。实验组采用情景模拟教学法联合传统教学模式,对照组采用传统教学模式。通过纸质理论考试及随堂测验对两种模式的学习效果进行分析,学生最终获得综合成绩,综合成绩=纸质理论考试成绩×70%+随堂测验成绩×30%。对纸质理论考试成绩、随堂测验成绩及综合成绩均进行对比分析。同时,通过在线问卷调查,分析实验组学生对情景模拟教学法的接受度及学习体会。 结果 实验组学生的纸质理论考试成绩、随堂测验成绩及综合成绩均高于对照组,差异均具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。大部分学生认为情景模拟教学法可以增加学习兴趣、提升听课效率、改善教学效果。 结论 情景模拟教学法联合传统教学模式在医学通识课教学中,提高了学生的综合成绩及教学质量,可在医学通识课的教学中逐步推广。
Objective To explore the feasibility and application value of scenario simulation method combined with the traditional teaching mode in medical general education so as to provide reference for better medical general education. Methods A total of 120 freshmen with non-medical background who took Introduction to Health Literacy, a general medical course in Xi’an Jiaotong University, from September 2022 to June 2023, were selected as the control group. Another 120 freshmen with non-medical background who took the same general education course in Xi’an Jiaotong University from September 2023 to June 2024 were selected as the experimental group. The experimental group received the scenario simulation method combined with the traditional teaching mode, whereas the control group was taught only with the traditional teaching mode. After the completion of the course, the effects of the two modes were analyzed through the theory test and in-class quizzes. Students finally got a comprehensive score. The comprehensive score = theory test score×70%+in-class quizzes score ×30%. The theory test scores, in-class quizzes scores, and comprehensive scores of the two groups were compared. Students’ feedback on their learning experience of scenario simulation method was collected through an online questionnaire survey. Results The theory test scores, in-class quizzes scores and comprehensive scores in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were all statistically significant (P<0.05). Most of the students believed that scenario simulation method could improve their interest and efficiency of learning. Conclusion Scenario simulation method combined with the traditional teaching mode in medical general education can raise students’ theory test scores and improve the overall teaching quality; therefore, it is worthy of further popularization in medical general education.
