课程思政视阈下医科院校“学术英语视听说”教学研究
Teaching Research on “Academic English Viewing Listening and Speaking” Course in Medical Colleges and Universities in the Context of Curriculum Ideology and Politics
课程思政视阈下,知识传授、能力培养和价值引领需有机融合,以技能训练为主导的传统英语听说教学模式亟待改革。再加上“新医科”大背景下,医科院校现行的英语听说教学模式不适应跨学科、跨专业的新型医学人才培养标准。“大学英语专业学科内容与课程思政如何融合才能更好地培养学生的听说能力”成为高校英语教师直面的困境。基于对医科院校学术英语课程思政的问题与关键点的分析,文章从学科内容、教学方法和教师素养等三个维度总结了医科院校“学术英语”课程思政的现存问题,在综述目前相关文献的基础上,以全人教育理论为指导,剖析了“学术英语”课程思政实施的三个关键环节,进而探讨了思政融合的三个原则与三大路径,探索出“融合语言与医学专业于一体的医学院校英语教学模式”,期待为专业学科院校的英语教学转型提供新思路。
In the context of curriculum ideology and politics, knowledge instruction, skill development and value guidance need to be integrated, and traditional English listening and speaking teaching, which primarily focuses on skill training, requires urgent reform. Moreover, under the broader context of “New Medicine”, the current teaching mode of English listening and speaking course in medical colleges and universities does not meet the interdisciplinary and cross-professional standards required for the training of new medical talents. “How to integrate disciplinary content of College English with curriculum ideology and politics to better cultivate students’ listening and speaking abilities” has become a dilemma faced by college English teachers. Based on the analysis of problems and key points of curriculum ideology and politics of Academic English in medical colleges and universities, this paper summarizes the existing problems of curriculum ideology and politics of “Academic English” course in medical colleges and universities from three dimensions including disciplinary content, teaching method and teachers’ literacy, and analyzes the three key links of complementing curriculum ideology and politics of “Academic English” course guided by holistic education theory on the basis of currrent literature review, further discusses the three principles and three approaches of of ideological and political integration, and explores an English teaching mode which combines language and medical specialties in medical colleges and universities, so as to provide new ideas for the transformation of English teaching in specialized academic institutions.
