预防医学专业本科生专业承诺和择业效能感关系研究
A Study on the Relationship between Specialty Commitment and Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy of Undergraduates Majoring in Preventive Medicine
目的 了解预防医学专业本科生的专业承诺、择业效能感现状以及二者之间的关系,为该专业的教育教学改革和就业指导工作提供依据。 方法 使用一般资料调查表、专业承诺量表和择业效能感量表,通过问卷星平台对桂林医科大学大一至大五的346名本科生进行在线问卷调查。 结果 预防医学专业本科生专业承诺平均得分为(3.23±0.49)分,择业效能感平均得分为(3.38±0.50)分;不同家庭经济状况、年级和有无实习或社会兼职经历对学生专业承诺得分差异有统计学意义(均P<0.05);不同家庭经济状况、年级、生源地对学生择业效能感得分差异有统计学意义(均P<0.05)。学生专业承诺与择业效能感之间呈显著正相关(r=0.512,P<0.01)。学生专业承诺中的情感承诺、规范承诺、理想承诺显著正向预测其择业效能感(均P<0.01),对择业效能感的可解释变异为32.9%。 结论 应注重对预防医学本科生的专业承诺教育,以提高其择业效能感。
Objective To understand the current status of specialty commitment and career decision-making self-efficacy among undergraduates majoring in Preventive Medicine, as well as the relationship between the two, in order to provide a basis for education and teaching reform and employment guidance for this major. Methods A general information questionnaire, a specialty commitment scale, and a career decision-making self-efficacy scale were used to conduct an online questionnaire survey through the Wenjuanxing platform among 346 undergraduates from grade 1 to grade 5 at Guilin Medical University. Results The average score of specialty commitment among Preventive Medicine undergraduates was (3.23±0.49), and the average score of career decision-making self-efficacy was (3.38±0.50). There were statistically significant differences in the scores of specialty commitment among students with different family economic conditions, grades, and internship or part-time work experience (all P<0.05). There were statistically significant differences in the scores of career decision-making self-efficacy among students with different family economic conditions, grades, and places of origin (all P<0.05). There was a significant positive correlation between students’ specialty commitment and career decision-making self-efficacy (r=0.512, P<0.01). Emotional commitment, normative commitment, and ideal commitment in students’ specialty commitment significantly and positively predicted their career decision-making self-efficacy (all P<0.01), with an interpretable variation of 32.9% for career efficacy. Conclusion Attention should be paid to specialty commitment education for undergraduate in Preventive Medicine to enhance their career decision-making self-efficacy.
