多元读写视域下医学院校大学英语课程思政教学设计
An Instructional Design for Integrating Curriculum Ideology and Politics into College English Courses in Medical Colleges and Universities from the Perspective of Multiliteracies Pedagogy
医学院校大学英语课程思政教学研究亟须突破宏观倡导多、创新实践少的瓶颈和思政元素零散渗透的惯性。基于多元读写理论视角,将思政育人有机融入实景实践、明确指导、批评框定与转化实践4个教学环节,构建了课程思政与多元读写能力培养耦合的大学英语教学模式。以广州中医药大学“通用学术英语2”课程为例,以“处方精简”为主题,进行了具体的教学设计实施与效果评估。半结构化访谈与学生作品分析表明,该教学设计能显著促进学生在学术英语水平、多模态识读、批判性思维、医学伦理推理及社会责任感等方面的综合能力提升,并成功将价值引导转化为可践行的医学人文素养,为医学院校外语课程思政建设提供了理论支持与路径参照。
Research on curriculum ideology and politics in College English courses in medical colleges and universities needs to address two limitations: the imbalance between predominant macro-level and policy-oriented studies and insufficient innovative pedagogical research, as well as the fragmented integration of ideological and political elements into instructional design. Based on multiliteracies pedagogy, this study organically integrates curriculum ideology and politics into the four instructional components—situated practice, overt instruction, critical framing, and transformed practice—thereby constructing an instructional mode that couples curriculum ideology and politics with multiliteracies development for College English courses. An instructional design themed “deprescribing” is implemented and its effect was evaluated in the course of “General Academic English 2” in Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. Semi-structural interviews and analysis of students’ works demonstrate that this teaching design significantly enhances students’ comprehensive competencies in academic English proficiency, multimodal literacy, critical thinking, clinical ethical reasoning, and social responsibility; meanwhile effectively develops and internalizes medical humanistic qualities in students. This study provides theoretical support and path reference for curriculum ideology and politics construction of foreign language courses in medical colleges universities.
