来华留学生“儿童口腔医学”课程思政教学改革探索

来华留学生“儿童口腔医学”课程思政教学改革探索
Exploration of the Teaching Reform of Curriculum Ideology and Politics of “Pediatric Dentistry” Course for International Students
将思政教育融入留学生专业课,是落实“立德树人”与传播中国医疗文化的双重路径。针对来华留学生“儿童口腔医学”课程中专业与思政脱节、跨文化适配不足、医德培养薄弱等问题,西安交通大学口腔医学院儿童口腔医学教研室尝试构建“教师能力赋能、内容精准挖掘、课堂沉浸体验、多元考核保障”四位一体的课程思政教学模式,聚焦儿童口腔医学的学科特色,结合留学生的文化背景设计跨文化教学场景,系统挖掘7大教学模块的思政元素,对来华留学生开展融入思政教育的专业课。实践显示,课程教学满意度从84%提升至92%,89%的学生认为思政元素有助于理解中国医疗文化。该模式实现了知识传授、能力培养与价值引领的有机统一,为口腔医学留学生课程思政改革提供参考。
Integrating ideological and political education into the specialized courses for international students is a dual approach to implementing the principle of “fostering virtue through education” while disseminating Chinese medical culture. In response to issues such as the disconnection between professional knowledge and ideological education, insufficient cross-cultural adaptation, and weak cultivation of medical ethics in the “Pediatric Dentistry” course for international students in China, Department of Pediatric Dentistry, College of Stomatology of Xi’an Jiaotong University developed a “four-in-one” integrated teaching mode, which focuses on “empowering teachers’ capabilities, precise content excavation, immersive classroom experiences, and diversified assessment safeguards”. It emphasizes the disciplinary characteristics of Pediatric Dentistry, designs cross-cultural teaching scenarios tailored to the cultural backgrounds of international students, systematically explores ideological and political elements across seven teaching modules, and delivers specialized courses that integrate ideological and political education for international students in China. The satisfaction rate of course increased from 84% to 92%, with 89% of students agreeing that the ideological and political elements helped them understand Chinese medical culture. This mode achieves an organic unity of knowledge impartation, ability cultivation, and value guidance, providing a reference for the reform of ideological and political education in Stomatology courses for international students.
