AI驱动的中医英语教学改革路径研究——以英语专业(中医方向)本科课程为例
Research on the AI-driven reform pathway for TCM English teaching: a case study of undergraduate courses for English major (TCM-oriented)
随着中医药国际化进程的加速,培养能够精准、生动地进行跨文化与科学交流的复合型人才成为时代的迫切需求。英语专业(中医方向)本科的传统中医英语教学普遍面临知识体系难以通约与教学模式陈旧的双重困境。针对这一难题,基于认知建构主义与情境学习理论,提出一条人工智能(artificial intelligence,AI)驱动的中医英语教学改革路径。该路径以中医知识图谱(knowledge graph,KG)为基座,以智能导师系统(intelligent tutoring system,ITS)为引擎,以虚拟患者(virtual patient,VP)对话系统为平台,由此构建的“KG+ITS+VP”3层递进的技术架构,实现从知识结构化、教学个性化到实践仿真化的完整闭环。在此基础上,进一步阐述如何结合专门用途英语与任务型语言教学法的原则,重构能力导向的中医英语课程体系、人机协同的教学模式和数据驱动的评估体系。AI驱动的中医英语教学改革路径为破解英语专业本科中医英语教学的长期瓶颈提供技术参考,同时也为其在实践中可能面临的诸多挑战提供批判性反思,为国家培养高层次中医药国际传播人才的后备力量提供系统性解决方案。
With the accelerating internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), there is an urgent need to cultivate interdisciplinary talents capable of precise and vivid cross-cultural as well as scientific communication. Traditional undergraduate TCM English teaching for English major (TCM-oriented) generally faces a dual dilemma of incommensurable knowledge systems and outdated pedagogical models. To address this challenge, grounded in Cognitive Constructivism and Situated Learning Theory, this study proposes an AI-driven pathway for educational reform of TCM English, with a TCM knowledge graph (KG) as its foundation, an intelligent tutoring system (ITS) as its engine, and a virtual patient (VP) dialogue system as a platform. The resulting three-tiered, progressive “KG+ITS+VP” technological architecture forms a complete closed loop from knowledge structurization, personalized instruction to practical simulation. Based on this architecture, this study further elaborates on how to reconstruct a competency-oriented curriculum, human-AI collaborative pedagogical models, and a data-driven assessment system, guided by the principles of English for specific purposes and task-based language teaching. This AI-driven pathway not only offers a technical reference for breaking the long-standing bottlenecks in undergraduate TCM English education, but also offers critical reflections on the potential challenges in its implementation, thereby providing a systematic solution for cultivating a high-level talent reserve for the international dissemination of TCM.
