研究生医学英语教学难题的智能解决路径
Intelligent solutions to postgraduate medical English teaching challenges—a case study based on CMU Xuetangyun online learning platform
在人工智能(artificial intelligence,AI)深度发展背景下,高校研究生英语教学亟需向智能深度融合的在线教学转型。首都医科大学(以下简称首医)构建的学堂云在线学习平台集成AI学伴、智能建课等功能。本文以医学英语术语课程为实践案例,探索“AI+网课”模式的教学适用性与有效性。基于131份首医硕士研究生有效问卷数据,采用Spearman秩相关等方法分析发现:平台通过智能学伴能实现个性化学习引导,显著提升研究生的语言应用能力与学习参与度;超九成受访者对课程内容、AI功能满意度高,且感知易用性、有用性与使用频率呈显著正相关。该平台可有效破解医学研究生面临的三大教学难题,为研究生英语教学的数字化转型发展提供了可复制实践路径。
Against the backdrop of the in-depth development of artificial intelligence (AI), the postgraduate English teaching in universities is in urgent need of transformation towards online teaching with the deep integration of intelligence. Capital Medical University (CMU) has developed the Xuetangyun online learning platform, which integrates functions such as AI learning companions and intelligent course creation to establish a "technology-empowered teaching" system. Taking the AI-supported course Medical English Terminology offered to CMU graduate students as an example, this paper explores the teaching applicability and effectiveness of the "AI + online course" model in medical English teaching. Statistical data from 131 valid questionnaires completed by CMU master's students by Spearman's rank correlation show that the platform enables personalized course guidance and AI-assisted learning, effectively enhancing postgraduates' language application abilities and learning engagement. Additionally, over 90% of the respondents have a high level of satisfaction among graduate students with the medical English course content, teaching arrangements, and AI learning companion functions on the platform. Perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness both show significant positive correlations with usage frequency. This study demonstrates that the CMU Xuetangyun online learning platform can effectively address three major challenges in graduate medical English teaching and provides a replicable and practical pathway for the digital transformation and development of postgraduate English teaching.
